Baby Saftey Month - Ameda Purely Yours Ultra Breast Pump

Here's another Baby Safety Month tip.  This tip includes making sure you baby is safe during feedings.  Ameda has shared some of their tips about their pumps.
If you have breastfed, and used a pump for all the times you were away, you know that all pumps don't work the same.  Some things that you should look for in a breast pump is ease and comfort, but  you should also keep a look out for a pump that will prevent bacteria and viruses from entering the mothers milk.
Ameda is a proven leader in breast pump innovations.  They are trusted by both moms and hospitals for over 65 years.  The Ameda Purely Yours Ultra Breast Pump (launched exclusively at Babies "R" Us this summer) is the "world's only breast pump with proven Airlock Protection Barrier".  The diaphragm keeps the air from the pump from coming into contact with the breast milk.  This feature helps protect breast milk from different bacteria, molds and viruses.
If you want any additional information on breastfeeding you can check out  www.myameda.com and  the Ameda Facebook page.

* I was not compensated for this post. It is something I believe in - being a mom. Thank you to Ameda for giving me the great information above for this post.

  1. Thanks for sharing this. I had to exclusively pump with my first child and ended up quitting after 6 months because they pump wasn't working too well. I will look into this one!

  3. Sounds interesting. I've been breastfeeding almost 4 yrs now and I'm so ready to STOP!! my 2nd child is obsessed. I bet if I got a pump to put my milk in something for him to drink out of maybe then I can escape more often.

    thanks sounds great

  5. The Ameda Pumps really are the safest option. They are also way less expensive than other brands like Avvent and Medela. Seems like a no brainer when your comparing pumps.
