PlayStation Move for the PS3

 I had a dream the other night that I found a Genie bottle, and out popped the Genie.  And instead of him asking me what my wishes were, he handed me the new PlayStation(R)MOVE.  How did he know my family has been wanting that?  He asked me what this game would change in my family.  This was defiantly a question that i would have think to answer.

After taking it home, everyone ran to the t.v. to see what new items mommy brought home.  Luckly since I only have 1 Child, I wont have any fighting between children on what games to play, but I will have daddy and son constantly trying to win each other over.  The first thing we did was look for PlayStation Move Compatible Games.  Theres 2 of them specifically that we wanted:  The Shoot and Start the Party.  These both seem like great games for the whole family to play... And also, they seem like a great party game.  We are constantly having friends over, so what a great way to help entertain our guests.

Then I awoke. After doing a little bit of searching I found that you can bring motion gaming for the PlayStation3 for only 99.99 with the MOVE bundle Package.  That is such a great deal.

 

ecoStore USA Review - Citrus Spray Cleaner and Baby Moisturizer

EcoStore carries a wide array Natural Products.  EcoStore was founded by Malcolm and Melanie Rands from their New Zealand home in 1993.  They use plant and mineral based ingredients to create safer, healthier products that do the job just as effectively as the petrochemical based ones. ecoStore sent me 2 of their great products for review.

The first product is the Spray Cleaner.  This cleaner is made from Water, Alkyl Polyglucoside (Plant Based Surfactant), Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate (Preservative), and D-limonene (Citrus Solvent).  My husband has been the lucky one to try this product out.  He decided that enough was enough with the old cleaning solution, and it was time to try something new.   How did he rate it - 5 out of 5. Like any cleaner, there is an odor.  But this is a very soft odor.  It does not overpower the small bathroom with fumes!  That is a Plus, especially with everyone having allergies or smell sensitivities.  How does it clean?  There was a slight shine to the sink that I have never noticed before!  Being a natural based product, It seems to cut through gunk a little bit better than

I also received the Baby moisturizer for review.  This moisturizer is great because it is made with ingredients that interact with your baby's natural oils.  Even though this is a Baby's Moisturizing product, I actually am the one who shares it with my son.  This lotion has a relaxing smell to it.  With the natural oils in it, it reacts naturally with our skins, and leaves our hands, arms and legs as soft as a baby's bottom.

Naturally Fresh Sent me a small care package featuring a little bit of everything.   Included in my package i received the Roll on deodorants, Crystal Deodorants, Spray Mists, and even Chap stick.
I have used the body spray, and roll on deodorants and loved them.  When first trying them, I did not know what to expect.  I was skeptical thinking that they would keep the stink away while i was working, but it has held up!  The roll on is actually my favorite of the deodorants.  It has such a refreshing smell (Tropical Breeze) - and quite a cool/cold feel when putting on.  This should have a 24 hour protection, but if you are very active, you may need to apply it more than once through the day. I have concluded that I actually look forward to putting on deodorant in the morning.
I also absolutely LOVE their line of lip care.  According to Naturally Fresh, "MoistStic SPF 15 is the absolute best lip protection in the world!! Once you try it you’re hooked"  These feature the taste and smell of peppermint, the tingle of Tea Tree Oil and glides on smooth.  All of these claims are true.  I am always trying new chap sticks  but when I find one I like, I become faithful  and I think I may have found the one!

You can always make traveling experiences more safe by doing simple things such as keeping an emergency kit in the trunk to making sure the car seat your child is in is not "expired" and it is the proper fit for your son/daughter.  Things that you can keep in your emergency kit would be blankets, flashlights, and a basic first-aid kit. I have even heard of some fire stations that will offer free inspections on your car seat to make sure it is properly installed.

I have grown tired of taking plastic bags with me when i want a sandwich made or When i am just looking at taking a small Snack. GreenTime Bags has come up with the perfect solution for this problem

I chose the Frog Pattern because it was cute and something that my son and I could both use. I have gotten most use out of the snack pack. Right now my son only takes 1/2 of a sandwich to school for his "snack" (lunch) This bag is truly easy to care for. It has a Lining that is easy to clean. Even Jelly doesn't seem to stick on it too long. You can wash this by washing machine, but they do recommend hand washing and air drying these bags for the longest lasting way.

Pen to Paper Challenge final week

This is the final week of the Pen to Paper Challenge. This is probably my hardest one to write, because I didn't know who else to mail a letter to. So instead, I am just writing a hand written note and hand delivering it to one of my bestest friends. She has been there for me a lot lately with any situations I may have.... We opend the bottle when I got home from work to try it. This was room temperature at the time. It was really FRUIT flavored. They recommend 2 ounces twice a day. So we put the bottle in the fridge and let it chill. I will have to admit, it tastes so much better when it is cold. This blend is a dark brownish color. Between the taste and the coloring - It reminded me of an All Natural Fruit Roll-up. They have other Fruit Blends - All geared helping your body in different ways.

Soda Stream Review - Make your own Soda Pop

I am a complete Pop Fan. I love Mt. Dew and Diet Coke... and now i have a new found love... I Love Soda Stream! If you haven't Heard of Soda Stream, this is a Make your own Soda unit. Now you can turn plain water into bubbly Soda.

Soda Stream makes carbonated water and Soft drinks simple. You can turn tap water into sparkling water in under 30 seconds - with no clean up. You also can enjoy the freshness and convenience of homemade soda and protect the environment at the same time. There are no heavy bottles to carry or store at home or throw in the garbage. You can make the water as fizzy as you please, and add the flavors of your choice to create your favorite drink. This product is simple to clean and easy to use.
They offer 4 different styles in colors that will match any decor. I was sent the Fountain Jet in Black and Silver for review. This is the best color for my "kitchen" Everything I have is either black or white. When this arrived in the mail, I made my family wait for me before they tried it. This package came complete with the Fountain Jet system, 1 Carbonator Tank, 2- 1 liter bottles, and 9 varieties of soda syrup. I try to not allow my son to have Pop - like Mt. Dew or Cola, so when I saw the lemon-aid, I thought How fun. He can have his own carbonated Lemon-aid. And I wont feel bad about it. The good: This makes yummy soda once you get the right flavor mix down pat... The bummy: It is a little Loud when you carbonate the water - the Buzzer part of it. The ugly: The clean up when your 4 year old son decides he's going to help pour the syrup mix.... and pours it in too fast....and its Fizz ALL OVER THE PLACE! lol... Its actually funny.... still is... We have used it many of times since we have received it. Mainly using the Kid Friendly Lemonaid. This is defiantly a great treat at the end of the week celebrating those long days of Pre-School! I look forward to trying some of their other flavors - but 9 bottles of flavoring - will last us a while.

According to the website, you are able to buy soda mixes at stores like Meijers. They do not offer the exchange carbonators though.

Overall this is one of the best products for a soda loving family!

What is my opinion on this game? This is a Hidden Object game with a slight twist. Not always do they tell you exactly what they want you to find. Sometimes they give you clues and you have to figure out what they mean (ex: for purse, they may say woman's bag.) My husband has spent more time on this game than I have (yet he does tend to ask to borrow my eyes). This is a great one player game - or even as a 2 player. Some times 2 sets of eyes are better than one. My husbands opinion; There are a lot of different levels (I think he said he was on level 19 when he commented on the level amount) But I keep telling him that it is not meant to be played in all one sitting. Boys....

Did you know that if you poured the Soda syrup in the carbonated water a little too fast, then you get a volcano of fizz... LoL? And the first thing I ran to grab - Since it JUST Arrived in the mail that day - Was my SKOY cloth. It sucked up all the fizz... We ran to the bathroom to rinse it out, and then used the rinsed cloth to finish washing up the table. I know this can be microwaved, but I have not tried that yet. Wholesale Costume Warehouse Buzz Lightyear Costume Review

Halloween is Just around the corner. Well, It is over a month away, but All the stores are shelving their aisles with Halloween things. One of my most favorite parts of Halloween is dressing up. As I have become older, I don't dress up much. It doesn't help that I have tended to work on Halloween. But Since I have become a mom, I have gotten the spirit of dressing up again. My son is now 3 1/2. For his first Halloween we dressed him as a little devil... Last year He was a dragon.... This year... Well, this year he got to chose out his own costume.
The great people at Whole Sale Costume Club allowed us to receive one costume of our choice to review and share with all my friends. This was an extremely hard decision. Especially for a 3 year old to make. He wanted to be everything at one time or another, but we finally settled on him being Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story.

We were so excited when this costume arrived in the mail. It consisted of the costume and blow up rocket pack. My son is a size 4T.... but we ordered the 4-6 costume figuring that if he needed to wear sweatpants or something underneath it in case it is too cool out, that there would be enough room... But I am glad that he got the larger size, because I think the 4T would have been a bit small. In my experiences in general, costumes tend to run a tad smaller than regular clothes. The Buzz costume is a 1 piece outfit with separate pieces for the leg shields. My son wanted to put it on and show it off to everyone in the family. Then he was very set on not wearing it too long because its not Halloween yet. He is so excited. And so am I.

Energizer Recharge Smart Charger

Are you a mother of a young child? If so then you will feel me.... It seems that 90% of the toys that children want to play with take batteries - Well, at least all my sons toys do. I try to keep the battery buying to a minimum, but it seems that the toys exhaust all the battery power faster than I can buy a new pack.
And as a mom, I am constantly taking pictures of my son and things that are going on. And my camera takes AA batteries.

There has to be an better way to powering one's toys and cameras and TV remotes. A way that will save room in landfills and cost less on the pocket book.

Energizer has come out with a solution to all our problems. They came out with the Energizer Recharge Smart Charger. This little charger holds 4 AA or AAA batteries (the most common batteries we use in our house). It keeps your informed of how long you have left for your batteries to charge and also how full the charge is on the battery.

Thank you Energizer for creating this great little product for moms like me. This will defiantly make my life easier... Now I wont have to worry about running to the store every couple days to make sure all my gadgets are working.
