Taking Care of the Family
My husband and I had to move to Texas last year to care for his ailing mother. Our kids are already out of the house, so it wasn’t too much of a sacrifice. We always planned on ending up there at some point, we just ended up there earlier than we planned. My mother in law needed us, so we had to be there. My father in law was taking care of her by himself and he was overwhelmed. We got ready for the move, and my husband was able to find a job through some old friends, but I was not. My mother in law was racking up some pretty serious medical bills, and we were starting to worry about how we were going to make ends meet with all that was going on. One of my husband’s old buddies told us to check out http://www.shopelectricityratestexas.com/bounce-electric-rates/Texas/R/Roanoke/ so we could save on our energy bills. I guess it all ended up working out since it is good for me to be home with my mother in law. I know we will make it through this hard time with the support of our friends and family.
I Have been looking at doing a little decorating... What should I do?
The first room that I did was my sons room. He had to have a room he felt comfortable in and that he enjoyed to be in...As I was looking for furniture for the rooms, I did come across this - elements international bp700drw - brook white dresser with optional mirror (white finish). It is cute, but my son really didn't like it as much as I hoped - he ended up getting a Familiar dresser from his grandpas house.
The next room that got any personality was the kitchen. It is the first room that you see when you walk in my front door. And the easiest way to decorate a kitchen is by using vinyl placemats modern. Vinyl placemats are the way to go - especially with young kids. They are super easy to clean up!
But there are times where worrying about how your house will look when others come over and you will drive yourself insane. That is when you need to get a walgreen blood pressure Kit. Once you realize that your blood pressure is up, you will know how to control it. My suggestion - when decorating becomes more stressful than fun .. its time to walk away and hire someone! (either that or get a friend to come in and help you. Someone you trust... and has similar taste as you)

How to organize your Online Content - using Clipix
Being a blogger, I tend to have a Gazillion projects going on at once. I'm either Pitching for an event, Posting about some pretty awesome products, or drooling over products that I would love to have for myself. I have never found a good way to keep my thoughts in order... I have tried using spreadsheets and email lists - but when i go back weeks or months later, I totally forget what my notes meant. Now I have heard about Clipix. I am sure that it is going to be easier to keep track of the items I want to get
What is Clipix? clipix is an useful tool that is changing the way that people organize their lives. It was created to solve the problem that everyone has - Seeing tons of things online every day and never having a good way to organize them.
What are some of the things that I have clipped on my Clipix board? Well I just started clipping - to see how it works, but I will tell you this. When i go through my and enter bloggers giveaways - I will be clipping the items I love most (from either the blog's home page or the manufactures home page). That way When I am ready to look for a new product or a new company to feature I will have some ideas of where I would like to start. I have also been helping one of my friends with their "Ideal Wedding Dresses" So this is a great way to share some of the things I found for her.
Have you signed up for Clipix? If you havent - then Why Not? You have no clue what you are missing. What are some of the things that you are looking forward to clipping?

Teenagers
My husband knows someone from his work that has two teenage sons. He was eating lunch with my husband the other day, and started talking about all the trouble he is having with his boys. His boys have started getting into trouble at school and have become more and more rebellious towards all authority including their parents. He has really had to start buckling down with the boys and keeping tabs on their school work and everything else they are involved with. The boys have even been caught more than once sneaking out of their house at night. So finally he had to talk with someone about getting a security system that would not only keep the bad guys out, but one that would also let him know when his sons were attempting to sneak out at night. That is when he contacted adt security services. The company was able to set up the system without the sons knowing that they had it installed. So now whenever they try to sneak out of the house, their dad is notified on his cell phone and can go to the place in the house that they are attempting to leave from. They don’t know what to think now. They just know that now they are getting caught.

Being a Blogger....
Being a Blogger - I have a "family" that is ever growing. They may not be genetically my family - but they are about as close as you can get sometimes. I've shared many heart to heart stories with Bzzing Mom, Am able to feel like I am in High School when talking to Woven By Words, and have learned So much from This Mama Loves Her Bargains. Plus many more! Every one of them I consider a "family"
Being a blogger - I have realized you can not ever judge a book by its cover - or a person by what he/she wears or does. Being a blogger I have learned who my friends are - and may never meet them face to face.
I wouldnt give up being a "Blogger" for anything. Yes, sometimes it can get stressful... or overwhelming... but in the end. It has made me... ME!
