What would you do?

What would you do in this situation... Scenario: You know of a company that has been having things stolen from them. You are about 75% sure that you know the exact location of where things are being stolen from... The only thing is: You don't know WHO is doing the Stealing, or WHEN they are stealing. You just have an idea of WHAT they are stealing.

What do you do? Do you inform the company that they are having things stolen...(which I am pretty sure they do know after looking at inventory reports) or do you just ignore it?

  1. When I am unsure of how to handle something I always try to think how I would feel in the other persons shoes. Would I want to know? I would think in your situation, yes you'd want to know. A little anonymous call or letter couldn't hurt. Maybe you dont know all the facts, but what you do know may help more then you realize.

  2. Since I don't know all the facts, but Ido know that things are indeed being stolen, I would probably inform the company anonymously. The other reason for this is because I wouldn't want to be accussed of being the one stealing the items, since I don't know WHO is stealing them.

  3. I think you know what you need to do otherwise you wouldn't be having this dilemma with yourself. I know if someone(s) were doing me wrong I would want to know.

    Good luck with your situation.

  4. Definitely give them the info they need to start investigating. If you know something is wrong..and you have facts..if you do not tell them then you are helping the real thieves get away with it!
