Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil Review

There are so many recipes that you can you Coconut oil. My favorite Recipe to try was the french toast. You can find some of the many recipes here. There are also hundreds of uses besides cooking that you can use coconut oil for. For Example: Lip Balm, Hair Conditioner, Body Lotion and more.

Tropical Traditions sent me a Generous Sample Size to try. They sent me a whole 32 oz Jar of their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil. When it is below 76 degrees F it is a solid, when it warms up above 76 degrees it starts to turn liquid.

I am, by no means, a Fancy Cook - So I split my jar of coconut oil up between me, my aunt and my coworker. Those two are always experimenting with new foods and flavor combination.
My aunt made Green beans sauteed in Coconut oil with Fresh Garlic. Quoted from her " The coconut was not overpowering. It added a bit of sweetness to the beans and toned down the garlic a little. I'd give it 5 stars"

My coworker ended up using some of the coconut to make chicken for her family. Not telling anyone what was used to make the chicken, no one knew but her. She said that the taste was so soft that no one noticed the difference. She did taste a small hint of coconut, but that was only because she was Searching for that taste. This is defiantly a great alternative to regular cooking oil.

Me, I'm opting for the non cooking rout for my coconut oil. I split my portion into 2 containers - One for the kitchen and one for the bathroom. I have heard many people say they will use it for moisturizers. The scent is very soft, so it will make great lip balm.

While looking at the Tropical Traditions page, they showed a link to Coconutoil.com. Here you can find Research that has been done proving the benefits of using Coconut oil in your daily life.

Check out Tropical Traditions Here - and order yourself some Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil. They also have products like Raw Honey and Organic Maple Syrup. I cant wait to try those.
