Live Brilliantly - Lense Cleaner - Review

D
Are you tired of having smudgy Finger printed Glasses or Sunglasses?  I know I was.  I tried using the old cloth on the lens and then also steaming it up with your breath and wiping them.  That barely ever fixed them.  Brilliant Lens came up with a solution to that!  They have come up with an Ammonia and Alcohol free cleaner.

I was sent a set of Brilliant Lens Cleaner for review.  This set came complete with 2 small spray bottles of cleaner, an optical microfiber cloth and a small carrying bag.  This cleaner worked great on my sunglasses - which were finger printed by my lil guys hands... The cleaner worked like a charm.  Just a spray on the front, a spray on the back...and voila all clean.  According to Brilliant Lenses, it is also made with SR-8 which is suppose to add a protective barrier to the lenses to resist scratches, and soiling from water, sweat, dust and dirt.

I rate this a 5 star.  They got my glasses cleaner then they have ever been.  Also, according to the package you can use them on your cellphone screens... :D

Halloween Hullabaloo Healthy and Fun Holiday Treats

Halloween is quickly approaching.  If you have kids, you can be expecting the School Halloween Parties.  Most of the parties I ever had as a kid in school, had tons of snacks - which was a potluck of food brought in by the students.  Here's a couple Fun Halloween Party Ideas.

Ingredients

·         vegetable dip

·         4 long carrots

·         1 medium carrot

·         softened cream cheese

·         sliced-almond

·         baby carrots

Instructions

1.      To prepare them, just fill a serving bowl with your favorite vegetable dip. Wash and peel 4 long carrots for fingers and 1 medium carrot for a thumb.

2.      With a paring knife (a parent's job), cut a flat, shallow notch in the tip of each carrot. Then use a dab of dip or softened cream cheese to glue a sliced-almond fingernail atop each notch.

3.      Stick the fingers in the dip, as shown, and serve with plenty of peeled baby carrots for dipping.

Ingredients

• Apples

• Slivered almonds

Instructions

1. Just quarter and core an apple, cut a wedge from the skin side of each quarter, then press slivered almonds in place for teeth.

Tips:

If you're not going to serve them right away, baste the apples with orange juice to keep them from browning.

Thank you Family Fun for these recipe ideas!

Olivers Lables - Personalized Kids Labels - Review

Do you have children in Preschool - or Kindergarten?  If so, then you know how all the teachers want everything labeled.  Their backpack, their coats and boots, and if the teacher asks to keep an extra set of clothes in the classroom - then they will need to be labeled too.  The creators of Oliver's Labels experienced that too.

How it began

"It all began with a small idea to keep Oliver, my nephew, from losing his stuff. After seeing the overwhelming positive reaction from his teachers and other parents, I realized there was a huge demand for high quality labels. I used my 6 years of experience in the printing industry to develop a label that was both durable and beautiful. The business was born and now our full-colour designs and exclusive Found-it™ tracking system are a few of the things that set Oliver's Labels apart from the competition." - Debbie

The great people at Oliver's Lables sent me a sample pack for review.  They sent me 5 Stick-eez Clothing Labels, 5 Mini Labels, 2 Shoe Labels, and 5 Original Labels. These labels have a gloss finish to them.  We were able to chose the personalization and the design of the label.  We chose the Dinosaur pattern - because my 'lil guy loves watching Dinosaur Train in the mornings.   These stickers are strong.  They are made to stick where ever you put them.. To the touch, they don't feel tacky, but they are.  I haven't used the original or mini labels on any cups or hard surfaced items yet - but they are suppose to be dishwasher safe. They also feature the Found-it tracking system.  This tracking system was made to keep your lost items found. I will keep you posted on how well these stick - and let you know how long they last in my sons jacket...

I was sent this set of Oliver's Labels for Review purposes only.  There is no financial compensation for this review.  All opinions on this review are 100% mine.

BrytonPick- Floss in Seconds Review

Have you ever just finished lunch at work, and go back just to realize that you still have something between your teeth? Dental Floss can be such a pain to carry - Especially for guys! and Tooth picks... Defiantly wood flavored. BrtonPick has come up with the perfect solution. Their Floss In Seconds Pick.  Their pick is shaped like a boomerang with each end of the boomerang shape made from very thin and flexible metal.

BrytonPick has sent me me 2 picks for review. Both my husband and I took one to try out. He hasn't said much about it either way - but he doesn't mind grabbing the good ol floss and flossing his teeth... But my opinion? I love it. I love the fact that i can keep it in the slot with my D.L. and have it where ever I go. I personally hate flossing, but it never fails - When you don't have floss with you, you ALWAYS get something stuck in between your teeth. This Pick is extremely easy to use. It is defiantly best to use a mirror when using - especially when you are new to using the Bryton Pick.

BrytonPick can be found online here.
